Germans love their bikes. Between the paths specifically for bikers (I’ve made the mistake more than once here in Heidelberg of being on their wrong path, only to been “warned” by their obnoxious little bell) and the cornucopia of differing attachments and gear for parents who bike with their kids, I thought I had seen it all. Then I saw this bike rack. At the castle in Dilsberg. Of course. Because doesn’t it look like that’s the only place it could be? The hand-painted images above are back and front. Which is which? Who knows? But it makes this non-biker want to check out the latest ten speeds. I’m sure I’ll fit right in.
